Bullies Not Allowed
elle T. |
This year, I have decided that I am not going to wait until issues start cropping up to talk about them. Our society is changing, and sadly, many areas of society are not changing for the better. Bullying is one of the shameful things that we allow to go on in schools, on jobs and in the neighborhood. It’s time for it to stop. If we consider it carefully, it’s a human rights issue that occurs in some of the most elite and prestigious places in our country. But it also happens in some of the less glorified places in our country. It shouldn’t happen ever. If we are to call ourselves a community village, then we need to act like it. Our children and our seniors need to be protected especially, from those that think they are better than, meaner than, or crueler than the next person. We are all connected and if we don’t stop bullying, who’s to say that the next person to be bullied won’t be you or me? Let’s do our part to stop this and if you are being bullied, let someone know. If your child is being bullied or if you think your child might be a bully, get help, and keep letting people know until it stops. We are better than this. elle T.
