is about the current story of China reaching out to Africa - hopefully for mutual benefit. By way of contrast, the book 1421: The Year China Discovered America
explains that although China started some early sailing expeditions around the world, there was an early withdrawal away from the expeditions. Sounds like there has been a change of heart now.
